A failed two-point conversion yielded a 21-20, overtime victory for the Cranford High School football team over the Woodbridge Barrons at Memorial Field in Cranford on September 14. After Cougar junior quarterback Tyler Veltre tied the game with a five-yard run and Ryan Carracino kicked the extra point, the game shifted to the overtime period where the Cougars scored first and nailed the point after then the Barrons scored and went for two but came up short.
