Courtesy of Tom Kranz LIBRARY FUNDS...A state appropriation of $1 million was presented to the Borough of Fanwood on September 5 at the monthly council work session. The presentation was made by State Senate President Nicholas Scutari, Assemblywoman Linda Carter and Assemblyman Jim Kennedy. The money is earmarked for Fanwood’s new library, currently under construction at the site of the old library at North Avenue and Tillotson Road. Garwood Green Team Plans Meeting, Projects
GARWOOD --The Garwood Green Team will hold its first fall 2023 meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19 in Borough Hall. After taking a summer hiatus- it was just too hot! – we will come roaring back with some new activities and continuation of traditional functions. New members are welcome; all you need is to be comfortable being called ‘GREEN!
