Deegan 50’s Pass Douglas VW In UC A Division Game 2, 12-6

Game 2 in the best of three series meant a lot to the top-seeded Deegan Roofing men who experienced an 186 thumping from second-seeded Douglas VW in Game 1 of the Union County Senior 50+ A Division championships. It was either win or go home but the Deeganators decided to win with the help of a six-run breakout inning and a number of key defensive plays en route to a 12-6 victory at Memorial Field 3 in Linden on August 29 to force Game 3.
