WESTFIELD — Plans to provide more local housing and better services to veterans in need took an important step forward at Tuesday night’s meeting of the mayor and council with the introduction of a new redevelopment plan aimed at creating a more accessible and inclusive future for Westfield’s American Legion Hall.
