Celebrating 20 Years of Compassionate Care: Helping Hands Homecare

Clark based Helping Hands Homecare, a leading provider of in-home care services, is proudly celebrating its 20th anniversary of delivering exceptional care and support to individuals and families in need. Since its establishment in 2003, Helping Hands Homecare has been at the forefront of providing compassionate and reliable care, making a positive impact to many in the community.

Over the past two decades, Helping Hands Homecare has become synonymous with quality care and unparalleled dedication. Founded by Robert D’Arienzo, the company has grown from humble beginnings to a trusted and respected name in the home care industry. What started as a heartfelt response to a family’s personal experience has blossomed into a remarkable success story.

Robert D’Arienzo, Owner/President of Helping Hands Homecare, embarked on this journey after witnessing the challenges his own family faced when his beloved grandmother battled pancreatic cancer. Determined to make a difference and assist families going through similar situations, D’Arienzo spent over a year preparing and opened Helping Hands Homecare July 1, 2003. From the very beginning, the company’s mission has been to provide top-notch caregivers, exceptional customer service, and dependability families could rely on.

“I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished in the past 20 years,” said Robert D’Arienzo. “Our dedicated team of caregivers and staff members have shown immense commitment and compassion, truly embodying the values that have driven our success. I’m grateful for the opportunity and it’s a true honor when a family entrusts you to take care of a loved one.”

Throughout its 20-year journey, Helping Hands Homecare has continually evolved to meet the changing needs of its clients. The company offers a wide range of services, catering to both basic and complex care requirements. Helping Hands Homecare offers services such as assistance with bathing, getting dressed, toileting, medication reminders, hospice care, laundry, housework, shopping, and companionship. Recently, they have started offering geriatric care management services which include a comprehensive assessment and goal formulation, medication management, nutritional services, attending clients doctor appointments and reporting back to family, help with paying bills and ensuring the smooth function of the household.

What sets Helping Hands Homecare apart is its unwavering dedication to maintaining the highest standards of care. Director of nursing Diane Majeski-Felle explained, “Each caregiver undergoes competency evaluations, ongoing training, and is carefully overseen by our nursing staff. Caregivers are carefully matched with clients based on their unique needs and preferences”. The company’s commitment to excellence has earned them numerous accolades such as accreditation with distinction, through CAHC (Commission on Accreditation for Home Care), achieved by less than 10% of home care companies.

As Helping Hands Homecare celebrates, the team looks ahead with enthusiasm and gratitude. The company remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring its clients can age in the comfort and familiar surroundings of their homes.
