VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH...Elyse Blasi, a Fanwood Recreation commissioner for the past two years and 35-year resident of Fanwood, has been named Fanwood Volunteer of the Month. She has taken part in organizing many of the borough’s signature events, among them the upcoming Christmas tree lighting and holiday celebration, the Easter Egg Hunt and 5K race. She was presented with a print of the historic Fanwood train station by Council President Tom Kranz.
