Westfield High School Opening Will Be Delayed Until Monday, Sept. 8. All other Westfield public schools will open on Wednesday, September 3 as scheduled.  Freshman Orientation will be held as scheduled on Tuesday, Sept. 2 in the WHS auditorium. Superintendent Dr. William Foley assessed the high school building construction status on Thursday, August 28 and determined to make the delayed opening. Where to Find Westfield High School Opening Status Information: Residents can call 908.789.4463 starting Friday (August 29) for a recorded message. TV-36 will provide announcements. The high school will mail a letter to parents of students on Friday. The Westfield Leader will post the information on its website: www.goleader.com.
