Westfield Town Council By Lauren Barr July 12, 2011
Story Download - Westfield's Third Ward residents have Mark LoGrippo as their new representative following his swearing in at Tuesday night's public council meeting. Mr. LoGrippo was appointed to the council following the resignation of Mark Ciarrocca upon Mr. Ciarrocca's appointment as a Superior Court Judge in Union County. Mr. Ciarrocca will be sworn in as a judge on Tuesday, August 2. Town Clerk Claire Grey read Ciarrocca's resignation letter which stated, "It has been my pleasure and honor to serve the residents of Westfield."

Former Town Attorney Robert Cockren received a proclamation from Mayor Andy Skibitsky recognizing his 25 years of service to the town. Mr. Cockren retired following 14 years as the Zoning Board of Adjustment Attorney and 11 years as Town Attorney. Former Mayor Greg McDermott approached the microphone to thank Robert Cockren for his years of service to the town.
