Assemblyman Jon Bramnick Reception for Winners of ’08 Photo Contest.

A reception was held to view the photos on Sunday, September 14, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the offices of The Westfield Leader located at 251 North Avenue in Westfield. Refreshments were served and prizes awarded.

Fun in the Sun Category: First Place, Dan Gallic, Baby Face; Second Place, Helen Rosales, Nieces; Third Place, Marlene Gebauer, Gebauer Surfing; Fourth Prize, Larry Rosario, Shells at 5 a.m.; Honorable Mention, Bradford Bonner, The Impossible; and Bob Burslem, Boyscouts in Kayaks.

Winners in the Wildlife Category are: First Place, Jim Casola, Snails; Second Place, Melanie Boyne, The Deer; Third Place, Jeanne Briski, The Seagull; Fourth Place, Steve Byland, Ruby Throated Hummingbird; Honorable Mention, John Hartnett, The Falcon; and Rosanne Christie, Jersey Gulls.

Winners in the Landscape Category are: First Place, Nicki Collins, Citiscape; Second Place, Kristen Hom, LBI Sunset; Third Place, Jeff Halverstadt, Waves; Fourth Place, Terry Bauer, Reflections; Honorable Mention, Greg Cummings, Kayaks; and Stephen Briggs, Goodbye Golden Sun.
