THANK YOU…Julia Black, organizer of “First Night Westfield,” thanks Assemblyman and former Westfield Mayor Richard H. Bagger for sponsoring the Fiscal Year 2000 Appropriations Act that provides $250,000 for the First Night New Jersey Coalition.   Assemblyman Bagger, Chairman of the Appropriations Committee, was asked to support funding in the Fiscal Year 2000 State Budget for First Night New Jersey programs to mark the new millennium. A lifelong resident of Westfield, Assemblyman Bagger has attended past First Night Westfield festivities and kicked off the event two years ago.
