Miss Susanne Geoghegan Marries Timothy Bonhote

Miss Susanne Marie Geoghegan, the daughter of Mrs. Marie Geoghegan of Scotch Plains, was married on Saturday, July 10, to Timothy Paul Bonhote, also of Scotch Plains, formerly of New Brunswick. He is the son of Mrs. Kathryn Bonhote of Garfield.

The afternoon ceremony took place at Saint Bartholomew the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Scotch Plains, with the Reverend Robert Kunze officiating. A reception followed at the Berkeley Plaza in Berkeley Heights.

Given in marriage by her mother, the bride wore an off-the-shoulder gown of white silk organza. The bodice was formed by rows of small tucks and the dress featured a chapellength train. The bride also wore a short veil with a rhinestone tiara and carried a nosegay of white and assorted shades of pink roses with ivy.

Mrs. Karen Glod of Scotch Plains was the matron of honor, with Miss Zeena Abdulahad of New York City, Miss Melissa Greenwald of Scotch Plains and Mrs. Valerie Lynch of

Westfield serving as bridal attendants.

Nick Potenza of Middlesex was the best man. The ushers included Bill Macco of New Brunswick, Fred Macco of Boonton, Dr. David Shapiro of Hightstown, Craig Sheehan of Belle Mead and John Geoghegan of Scotch Plains, the brother of the bride.

A graduate of Scotch PlainsFanwood High School and Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass., the bride was awarded her Master of Arts Degree in Reading from Kean University in Union.

She is currently enrolled in an administration program at Rutgers University of New Brunswick and employed as an elementary school teacher in Westfield.

The bridegroom, a Rutgers College graduate, is employed as a finance staff specialist for MCI International in Piscataway.

Following a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in Scotch Plains.

Cameron Richard Welcomed By Wright Family

Taylor and Lindsey Wright have announced the birth of their third son, Cameron Richard Wright, on Saturday, October 16, in Hong Kong.

Cameron joins his brothers, Taylor, 5½, and Clayton, 2½.

The baby’s grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Wright of Westfield and Mantoloking.

Miss Stacie Perry Weds Donald Pepperd

Miss Stacie Perry of Charlestown, R.I., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Perry of Westfield, was married on Saturday, July 17, to Donald S. Pepperd, also of Charlestown. He is the son of Mrs. Doris Vanslette of Pawtucket, R.I. and Donald H. Pepperd of Woonsocket, R.I.

The noon ceremony was performed at the Beavertail Lighthouse at Beavertail State Park in Jamestown, R.I., with Judge Charlie Johnson officiating. A garden reception was held at the home of the bride’s grandfather, Rivhall J. Perry, in Jamestown.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her parents, wore a sleeveless chiffon gown with an embroidered bodice, complemented by a large picture hat accented with tulle and pearls. She carried an antique tussy mussy which held a mix of white flowers.

Ms. Marisa Wigglesworth of Philadelphia, the matron of honor, wore a periwinkle silk dress and carried a bouquet of mixed flowers.

David and Edward Gong, both of Providence, R.I., served as best men for the bridegroom.

The bride, a 1989 graduate of Westfield High School, earned a degree from Cook College in New Brunswick in 1993. She teaches agriculture and floral design in the Scituate Public Schools in Scituate, R.I.

A graduate of Rhode Island College in Providence, the bridegroom also holds a master’s degree from Providence College in Rhode Island. He taught in Japan for two years and is currently employed as a social studies teacher in Scituate.

A rehearsal party was held at the bride’s home in Charlestown the evening before the nuptials. A brunch was held the morning after the wedding at the Richmond Country Club in Hope, R.I., to celebrate the 30th wedding anniversary of the bride’s parents.

Following a tour of Ireland and England, the couple reside in Charlestown.

Miss Jennifer Marshall Engaged to Chris Forno

Mr. and Mrs. Don Marshall of Belle Mead have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Jennifer Marshall of Westfield, to Chris Forno, also of Westfield.

The bride-elect graduated from Pennsylvania State University and is employed by NUI Corporation as

Director of Energy Administration. Her fiancé is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Conn. He is employed in the Treasurer’s Department at Prudential as Manager of Institutional Sales and Marketing.

The couple plan to be married in May of next year.

Ashley Pinakiewicz Included Among Commended Students

WESTFIELD – Ashley Pinakiewicz of Westfield, a student at Kent Place School in Summit, was among 13 seniors to be named Commended Students in the National Merit Scholarship Program for their exceptional academic promise.

These students placed among the top 5 percent of more than 1 million students who entered the year 2000 Merit Program by taking the 1998 Preliminary Scholastic Assessment Test/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
