Miss Margaret Paul To Wed Christopher Price

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Paul, 3rd, of Union have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Margaret Paul, to Christopher John Price. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Laurie J. Price of Westfield.

The bride-elect earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Science from Kean University in Union, and her master’s degree in public healthcare administration at

Seton Hall University in South Orange. She is employed by Quintiles Inc. as a Clinical Advance Phase Administrator.

Her fiancé is a teacher in the Woodbridge Township Public School district. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut.

The couple plan to be married in September in the Seton Hall Immaculate Conception Chapel of Seton Hall University.

Miss Ellen Klingelhofer and Frank Ammirato, Jr.

Miss Ellen Klingelhofer To Wed Frank Ammirato, Jr.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Klingelhofer of Westfield have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Ellen Lee Klingelhofer, to Frank Joachim Ammirato, Jr. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ammirato of Thornwood, New York.

The bride-to-be graduated from Westfield High School and from the University of Vermont at Burlington, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.

She also earned a master’s degree in nutrition education at the University of California at Chico. Miss Klingelhofer is employed as a private-duty nurse and teaches at the Community College of Vermont.

Her fiancé graduated from Westlake High School in Thornwood

and from the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering, where he was awarded a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He is employed as an engineer with IBM in Essex, Vermont.

The couple plan to be married July 31 in Stowe, Vermont.

Bradley Coustan and Miss Helene B. Fink

Miss Helene B. Fink To Marry Bradley Coustan

Mr. and Mrs. Allan Fink of Montville have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Helene B. Fink of New York City, to Bradley Coustan, also of New York City. He is the son of Mrs. Natalie Bender of Glencoe, Illinois and Harvey Coustan of Chicago.

A graduate of Westfield High School and Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, the bride-to-be is

employed as a senior account executive at Cohn & Wolfe Public Relations in Manhattan.

Originally from Chicago, the future bridegroom attended Indiana University at Bloomington. He is employed as a financial consultant at Merrill Lynch in Manhattan.

A wedding is planned for September.

Son, Edward, 4th Born to Dugans

Tracey McNally Dugan and Edward Francis Dugan, 3rd, have announced the birth of their son, Edward Francis Dugan, 4th, on Friday, February 26, at Overlook Hospital in Summit.

Edward weighed 8 pounds and 15 ounces and measured 20 inches in length at birth.

He joins his sister, Erin June, age 15 months.

Edward’s maternal grandmother is Sella McNally Biggs of Haven Beach.

His paternal grandparents are June Dugan of Bridgewater and Edward F. Dugan, Jr. of New York City.

Boscias Welcome Daughter, Alexis

Captain and Mrs. Joseph William Boscia have announced the birth of their daughter, Alexis Rae Boscia, on Wednesday, February 3, at Womack Army Hospital in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Alexis weighed 6 pounds and 7 ounces and measured 20 inches in length at birth.

Her maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Novacich of North Canton, Ohio.

Alexis’s paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Boscia of Westfield.

The baby was baptized recently by her great-great uncle, the Reverend Francis Lesniowski in Connellsville, Pennsylvania.

Reverend Lesniowski also officiated at the wedding ceremony of Captain and Mrs. Boscia, and baptized Captain Boscia as an infant.

Mr. and Mrs. Lux Welcome Triplets

Suzanne Paradise Lux and Gerhard Lux, Jr. of Freehold have announced the birth of their triplet children at 6:57 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, at St. Peter’s Medical Center in New Brunswick.

The new arrivals are daughters Gabrielle Paradise Lux and Gillianne Paradise Lux, and son Gerhard Anthony Lux, 3rd.

Gabrielle weighed 3 pounds and 15 ounces, Gillianne weighed 4 pounds and 1 ounce, and Gerhard weighed 3 pounds and 11 ounces at birth.

Their mother is a 1981 graduate of Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School.

The triplets’ maternal grandmother is Mrs. Edward D. Paradise of Scotch Plains.

Their paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Gerhard Lux of Philadelphia.

Kristin E. Gruman Makes Dean’s List For Fifth Semester

WESTFIELD — Kristin E. Gruman, a junior at Rutgers College of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, has been named to the Dean’s List for the fifth consecutive semester.

She is majoring in finance, with a minor in art history, and has a 3.9 cumulative average. Kristin was recently invited to join Beta Gamma Sigma, the National Scholastic Honor Society for students in business and management.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey C. Gruman of Westfield.

Stephanie Buldo Earns Greek Recognition

WESTFIELD — The Inter-Greek Council of Monmouth University recently recognized Stephanie Buldo of Westfield for outstanding Interfraternity contribution and selected her to the Order of Omega.

She has been recognized for her dedication to academic and scholastic achievement. She is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha.

Stephanie is a graduate of Westfield High School and is currently a junior at Monmouth University, majoring in Fine Arts.

Lindsay Zachar Named To Who’s Who Edition

WESTFIELD — Lindsay E. Zachar, a senior at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, was recently named to the 1999 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Lindsay is majoring in Health and Exercise Science. She is the daughter of Andrew and Evelyn Zachar of Westfield.

Newark Academy Posts Honor Roll Listing

WESTFIELD — Newark Academy in Livingston has announced that 65 students earned high honors and 276 students received honors for their academic achievements during the winter term.

Local residents who were awarded High Honors included Julien Cobert, grade 6; Arti Mattu, grade 8, and Daniel Ramage, grade 11, all of Westfield, and Avni Shah, grade 8, of Scotch Plains.

Those achieving Honors were Eric Ostrowski, grade 8; John Acquadro and Stefanie Forman, grade 9; Emilie Cobert, Sharad Mattu and Mindi Rock, grade 10; Nicole Panza, grade 11, and Mark Forscher, grade 12. All are residents of Westfield.
