Mrs.Jane YarnellandJohnVerrier, both of Westfield, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Jennifer Ann Verrier, to John Brillantes. He is the son of Mrs. AliceBrillantes ofBrooklynandJohn Brillantes, Sr. of Baltimore.
The bride-to-be graduated from WestfieldHigh SchoolandfromOhio State University in Columbus, Ohio, where she was awarded her Bachelor of Science degree. She is employed
by Merck and Company as an account executive.
Herfiancιis agraduateofXaverian High School in Brooklyn, and received his undergraduate degree in finance and his Master of Business Administration Degree from Fordham University in The Bronx. He is employed at Deutsche Bank in New York City.
The couple plan to marry in October and will reside in Westfield.

JodyandDale CoxofWestChester, Pennsylvania have announced the birth of their daughter, Madison Brooke Cox, on Sunday, February 7, at 8:54 a.m. at Chester County Hospital.
Madison weighed 7 pounds and 1 ounce and measured 20 inches in length at birth.
She joins her 2½-year-old sister, Taylor Rae.
Madison's maternal grandparents are Jim and Lori Washbourne of Scotch Plains.
Her paternal grandparents are Dr. andMrs.DaleU. Cox,Jr.ofFanwood and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Clark of Dunedin, Florida.
Miss Sue Ann Jankulow To Marry Robert Keane, Jr.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur E. Jankulow of Scotch Plains have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Sue Ann Jankulow, to Robert Joseph Keane, Jr. He is the son of Mrs. Mary Ann Keane of Larchmont, New York and the late Robert Joseph Keane, Sr.
A graduate of Scotch PlainsFanwood High School, the brideelect received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Finance from Mount Saint Mary's College in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
She earned a Master of Business Administration Degree in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University
in Madison, and is employed by AT&T in Basking Ridge as a manager in the Finance Organization.
Her fiancι graduated from Mamaroneck High School in Mamaroneck, New York and from Mount Saint Mary's College, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Finance. He is employed by the United States government, Department of the Treasury, in New York City.
A November wedding is planned at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Scotch Plains.

Miss Angela Buoscio To Wed Thomas Cerverizzo
Mr. and Mrs. Antonio Buoscio of Westfield have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Angela Anna Buoscio, to Thomas Carl Cerverizzo. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel S. Cerverizzo of Chatham.
Miss Buoscio is a 1992 graduate of Westfield High School and received her Associate's Degree in Business from Union County College in 1997. Sheis currentlypursuingabachelor's degree in marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison while working as an administrative assistant with Seagram Americas in Clark.
Mr. Cerverizzo is a 1986 graduate of Chatham Township High School. He attended Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, where he earned his Bach
elor of Science Degree in Business in 1990. He is employed as a corporate sales representative with the New York Mets Baseball Club in Flushing, New York.
The wedding will take place in December.

Amy Gottko Named To Fall Dean's List At Clemson University
WESTFIELD Amy Gottko, a sophomore at Clemson University, has been named to the Dean's List for the fall semester.
Amy is majoring in Computer Science and is a member of Gamma Sigma Sigma, a service sorority. She is the daughter of Town Administrator Edward A. Gottko and Jean Gottko. ShegraduatedWestfieldHigh School in 1997.
Local Students Earn Dean's List Status At Duke University
WESTFIELD Kathryn Rita Nowicki andChristinaMariaTodaro, both of Westfield, have been named to the Dean's List at Duke University for the Fall 1998 semester. They were among 2,214 students to receive that distinction.
A student must rank in the top third of their college to make the dean's list.
Kathryn is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. David Edward Nowicki. Christina is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Paul Todaro.
Fairleigh Dickinson Names Honored Pupils
Fairleigh Dickinson University's Florham-Madison campus has released the names of local students who qualified for the Fall 1998 Semester Dean's and Honors List.
To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a 3.2 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0. Students must achieve a 3.5 or better for the Honors List.
Colleen Spotts of Scotch Plains, and Meghan Cusimano, Matthew Hanas, andCathleen Surdouski,allofWestfield achieved Honors List recognition.

Sarah Gordon Earns Dean's List Status At Wake Forest Univ.
WESTFIELD Sarah Jane Gordon of Westfield has been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 1998 semester at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Sarah is a junior biology major. Students must earn a 3.0 grade point average for eligibility.
Craig Long Named To Special Dean's List At Syracuse University
WESTFIELD Craig Long of Westfield, who is a junior enrolled in Syracuse University's College of Visualand PerformingArts,wasnamed to the Dean's List for the 1998 fall semester.
Students must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and earn at least a 3.4 grade point average on a 4.0 scale during the semester to qualify for the Dean's List.
Vo-Tech Honors Students With Perfect Attendance
SCOTCH PLAINS Fifty-four students at the Union County Vocational Technical Schools have been honored for achieving perfect attendance during the second marking period.
Among the Vo-Tech administrators and staff taking part in the breakfast and luncheon ceremonies held at the Raritan Road Campus on Wednesday, February 24, were Dr. Thomas J. Bistocchi, Superintendent; Carol A. Hopper, Principal; Brian Purzak, Dean of Students, and Evelyn Jeffrey, Gloria Griffith, and Mark Bratus, members of the school's Guidance Department.
The following students have been honored for perfect attendance: Khalia Taylor and Laurensa Theodore of Fanwood, Shakeeha Wyatt, Tanysha Renee Taylor, Krista Nicole Hicks and Celeste A. Huggins of Scotch Plains, and Mark Rotondo and Marita Eriksson of Westfield.
Matthew Eberts Earns Dean's List Status At Caldwell College
WESTFIELD Matthew Eberts of Westfield was recently named to the Fall 1998 Dean's List at Caldwell College.
Students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and complete at least 12 credits during the semester.
