Ms. Amy Catherine Flynn Weds Dr. Randolph Wojcik
Ms. Amy Catherine Flynn, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James B. Flynn of Westfield, was married on Saturday, June 20, to Dr. Randolph Wojcik of Allentown, Pennsylvania. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randolph P. Wojcik of Westfield.
The Reverend Monsignor Francis J. Houghton celebrated the afternoon Nuptial Mass at the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Westfield. A reception was held at the Madison Hotel in Convent Station.
Ms. Flynn, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a princessstyle gown by Vera Wang of white silk satin and silk organza. It was accented by a three-tiered open bow and satin covered buttons, with a chapel-length train. A satin bow held her tulle veil. The bride carried a bouquet of white, champagne, lemon and blush roses hand tied with ivory satin ribbon.
Ms. Elizabeth Flynn of Hoboken served as her sister’s maid of honor. She wore a mercury blue satin dress and carried a bouquet of blue hydrangea, open roses and freesia hand tied with ivory satin ribbon.
The bridal attendants included Ms. Meghan Flynn of Westfield, the sister of the bride; Ms. Kimberly Foley of West Palm Beach, Florida and Ms. Loring Nagle of Far Hills, both cousins of the bride; Mrs. Christine Boozer of Scotch Plains, Mrs. Katy Brown of Westfield, Ms. Kerrie Donovan of Woburn, Massachusetts, and Ms. Heather Reed of Brighton, Massachusetts.
They also wore mercury blue satin dresses and carried bouquets of hydrangea, roses and freesia hand tied with ivory satin ribbon.
Serving as flower girls were Nina and Julie Anne Brownstone of Westfield, both cousins of the bridegroom. They wore matching sashed dresses of ivory and white silk dupioni and carried kissing balls of white, lemon, and blush roses held by ivory satin ribbons. Nicholas Brownstone, also a cousin of the bridegroom, was the altar server.
Glenn Wojcik of Middletown, Rhode Island was his brother’s best man. The groomsmen included Christopher Wojcik of New York City, also a brother of the bridegroom; Stephen Flynn of Westfield, the brother of the bride; Gerald Benaquista, Benton Cummings and Jason McLane, all of Westfield; Matthew Brown of Hoboken and Dr. Channing Coe of West Caldwell.
A 1989 graduate of Westfield High School, the bride earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from the Wallace E. Carroll School of Management at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, in 1993. Prior to her marriage, she was an assistant merchandiser for Ann Taylor in New York.
The bridegroom, who also graduated from Westfield High School in 1989, received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, in 1993. He was awarded his medical degree from St. Georges University School of Medicine in the West Indies in 1997. Dr. Wojcik is currently a surgical resident at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo J. Flynn of Jupiter, Florida, formerly of Westfield, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Cal L. Jones, who were residents of Watchung.
The bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Julio DeMasi of Rahway and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wojcik, who had lived in South River.
The bride was honored at a bridal shower given by her attendants. A wedding shower for the couple was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. R. Bruce McLane and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Cummings at the McLanes’ Westfield home.
The parents of the bridegroom entertained the wedding party and outof-town guests with a rehearsal dinner at the Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield.
Following a wedding trip to Maui, the couple reside in Emmaus, Pennsylvania.
Ms. Julie Chizewer Is Bride of Jeffrey Weill
Ms. Julie Chizewer, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Chizewer of Highland Park, Illinois, was married on Saturday, August 8, to Jeffrey Weill, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Weill of Westfield.
Rabbi Dov Taylor performed the evening ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago, where the reception also was held.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her parents, wore an ivory, A-line gown with antique French lace and a satin-trimmed veil. She carried a bouquet of mixed ivory and white flowers.
Mrs. Debbie Chizewer of Chicago, the sister-in-law of the bride, served as the matron of honor. The bridal attendants included Mrs. Dara Milner of Philadelphia, Ms. Tara Coles of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Sabrina Weill of New York City, the sisterin-law of the bridegroom, and Ms. Wendi Weill of Short Hills, the sister of the bridegroom.
Johanna Seiden and Liza Seiden of Short Hills, the nieces of the bridegroom, were the flower girls.
The matron of honor and bridal attendants all wore ivory satin gowns and carried bouquets of blue hydrangeas.

Ms. Sabrina Solin Marries Steven Weill
Ms. Sabrina Solin of Greenwich, Connecticut, the daughter of Ms. Esther Solin of Atlanta and Daniel Solin of New Lebanon, New York, was married on Sunday, May 17, to Steven Weill. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Weill of Westfield.
Rabbi Charles A. Kroloff officiated at the morning ceremony, which took place on the beach in front of the bridegroom’s parents’ home in Loveladies. The reception was held at the Long Beach Island Foundation of Arts and Sciences.
The bride wore a long, Morgan Le Fay ivory silk dress complemented by a wreath of flowers with satin ribbons, and carried a bouquet of ivory and yellow roses.
Ms. Melissa Pedone of New York City, wearing a white sundress, served as the maid of honor.
The bridal attendants included Ms. Julie Chizewer of Highland Park, Illinois, Ms. Sadie Van Gelder of New York City, Ms. Wendi Weill of Short Hills, the sister of the bridegroom; Ms. Sarah Kaatz of San Francisco, and Ms. Jennifer Hanelt of Los Angeles.
Serving as the flower girls were Johanna Seiden and Liza Seiden of Short Hills, the nieces of the bridegroom, and Sydney Berkley of Texas.
The bridal attendants wore white dresses of their own choosing and carried the same kind of flowers as the bride.
Lawrence Fish of New York City was the best man. The ushers included Jeffrey Weill of Brooklyn Heights, New York and Kenneth Weill of Boston, the brothers of the bridegroom; Matthew Seiden of Short Hills, the brother-in-law of the bridegroom; Scott Goldstein of Howell, the cousin of the bridegroom; Andrew Solin of New York City, the brother of the bride; Gary Wortzel of Seattle, Washington, Donald Tobey
of Fanwood, Mark Wolf, Richard Schwartz and John Schwartz, all of New York City, and David Wexler of Denver.
Dayne Seiden of Short Hills, the nephew of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer.
The bride graduated from Greenwich High School in Connecticut in 1988, and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California in Santa Cruz in 1992.
She is the Immediate Past Chairwoman of the Junior Board of Directors of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of New York. A published author, she is a senior editor at Redbook magazine.
A 1981 Westfield High School graduate, the bridegroom was awarded his Bachelor of Arts Degree with honors from Emory University in Atlanta in 1985.
He is President of Steven Weill Productions, Inc., a film and video production company which produces projects for HBO and “Saturday Night Live” as well as television commercials, and recently completed the feature film Game Day.
A rehearsal dinner was held at the bridegroom’s parents’ home in Loveladies.
After a wedding trip to Grenada, the couple reside in Manhattan.

The bridegroom, a 1983 alumnus of Westfield High School, was awarded his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, cum laude with honors, from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, in 1987.
He graduated from American University Law School in Washington, D.C. in 1993, and serves as Coordinator of Program Development for the American Jewish Committee of New York City.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the bridegroom at Maggiano’s Banquet Hall in Chicago.
Following a wedding trip to Florence, Italy, and sailing along the Amalfi Coast, the couple reside in Brooklyn Heights, New York.

Celeste Helene Born to Loffredos
Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Loffredo of Westfield have announced the birth of their daughter, Celeste Helene Luise Loffredo, on Wednesday, July 1, at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge.
Celeste weighed 6 pounds and 6 ounces and measured 19½ inches in length at birth.
She joins her brother, Alexandre, who is 2½ years old.
