The White's pitching again held the upper hand and retired all three Sum- mit batters in the fourth, then the White offense continued its dominance in the bottom of the fourth. Fiorino hit an infield single, Meylor and Gaynor both walked to load the bases, then Handza drove Fiorino home with a slow roller back to the pitcher.

With runners on second and third, Weinstein sliced a two-RBI single to right field, then moved to second on the throw home. With runners on first and third, Emery crunched a two-RBI double to center. Pete Valli and Notarmano both walked to load the bases, then Curty and Chuck Dashielle both walked to force in two-more runs.

Four runs were already in, but Charlie Brown's was far from satis- fied. Kamler lofted an RBI single over third and Schinik walked to add another run. Battiloro bashed an RBI single to left, Stagaard hit into a force play at home, then Ruta racked a three-run double to left. Emery drove in the 11th run of the inning with a single to left. Charlie Brown's now commanded a 14-2 lead.

A. J. Jersey was jolted by the dev- astating inning and were only able to answer with one run in the sixth. Kolas beat out an infield single and advanced to second on the throwing error. Kevin Price followed by pow- dering an RBI single to left.

Realizing their command of the game, the Peanuts characters needed not to score in the sixth and under- standing the hopelessness of the situ- ation, the A. J. Jerseymen failed to score in their final at bat. A. J. Jersey slipped to 11-8. Charlie Brown's improved to 6-13 and stayed alive in the hunt for the final playoff berth.
