Legislators Launch Reelection Campaign in District No. 22

Senate President Donald T. DiFrancesco, Assemblyman Alan M. Augustine and Assemblyman Richard H. Bagger kicked off "Campaign '97" on March 12, at L'Affaire restaurant in Mountainside. The legislators announced their intention to run for reelection to legislative office this November.

The District No. 22 delegation is elected by and represents the people of Berkeley Heights, Chatham Township, Clark, Cranford, Dunellen, Fanwood, Garwood, Green Brook, Long Hill Township, Mountainside, New Providence, North Plainfield, Scotch Plains, Warren Township, Watchung, Westfield and Winfield

Senator DiFrancesco, a lifelong resident of Scotch Plains, has served in the New Jersey Senate since 1979 and was first elected by his colleagues to serve as the presiding officer of the Senate in 1992.

Assemblyman Richard Bagger resides in Westfield and has served in the New Jersey Assembly since 1992.

Assemblyman Augustine of Scotch Plains also has served in the New Jersey Assembly since 1992.
