Westfield School Board Candidates Night

On Monday, April 7th, 1997, at 7:45pm, in the auditorium at Roosevelt Intermediate School (Clark Street), the Westfield Parent-Teacher Council held its Candidates Night for the Westfield Board of Education elections,

A spokesperson said, "We have six candidates running for three three-year terms. We are eager for people to come and meet them".

The moderator was Dorothy Dawson of the Hillside League of Women Voters. The audience took their turns at the microphone and put their questions directly to the candidates. (The leader's report will be posted shortly).

The Candidates are, in ballot order: Thomas P. Madaras, (inc), B. Carol Molnar (inc), Thomas Taylor, Patrick Keenoy, Michael J. Kessler and Mark Kabakow.

For those who didn't make it on the night, the event has been taped by the Westfield High School Television for Broadcast on channel 36, as follows:

April 8 at 6pm.
April 9 at 7pm.
April 10 at 10pm.
April 11 at 9pm.
April 12 at 2 & 10pm.
April 13 at NOON & 8pm.
April 14 at 9pm.
