- Abbey Cocktail
- 2 dashes aromatic bitters
1 1/2oz dry gin
3/4oz orange juice
generous dash sweet vermouth
Shake well with cracked ice and strain into cocktail
glass. Add a maraschino cherry.

3/4oz sweet vermouth

1 1/2oz Akvavit *
Dash the bitters into a sherry glass and roll it around

- Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 teaspoonful fine granulated sugar
1 1/2oz dry gin

3/4oz dry vermouth

- Pour 1 1/2oz bourbon whiskey into an 8oz highball glass.
Add ice and fill with soda. Stir slightly and serve.

- Boyde Cocktail
- Pour into a small tumbler, 1 teaspoonful of fine
granulated sugar, 1 teaspoonful of water to dissolve
sugar, juice of 1/2 lemon, 1oz cherry brandy, 1oz brandy.
Fill glass with shaved ice and stir slowly, then add a
slice of lemon. Serve with a straw.

- 1oz brandy
3/4oz sweet cream
3/4oz creme de caccao
Shake vigorously with cracked ice and strain into a large
cocktail glass.

- Brady Fizz
- 1oz fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon fine granulated sugar
1 1/2oz brandy
Shake well with cracked ice, strain into a 10oz highball
or fizz glass, sill with carbonated water. Stir slightly.

- Brandy Float
- Fill an old fashioned glass nearly full with carbonated
water. Rest the bowl of a teaspoon on top, and slowly
pour on to it 1oz of brandy, allowing the brandy to
overflow. Then carefully slide the spoon out from under
the brandy and the liquor will float.

- Brandy Smash
- 4 sprigs of mint
1 1/2oz brandy
1 teaspoonful fine granulated sugar
Muddle the mint and sugar lightly in an old fashioned
glass. Add a splash of seltzer. Add ice and brandy.
Garnish with sprig of mint. Stir slightly, serve with a
stir rod.

- Pour 1 1/2oz brandy into an 8oz highball glass. Add
cracked or cubed ice sufficient. Fill with soda, stir.

- 4 or 5 dashes of aromatic bitters
1 1/2oz bourbon or rye
bottle of Cola
Ice
Put the bitters into 10oz highball glass, add ice,
whiskey, then Cola. Stir slightly.

- 1oz black coffee
1oz kirschwasser
1 teaspoonful fine granulated sugar
white of 1 egg *
Shake well with cracked ice and strain into a large
cocktail glass.

- 2 dashes aromatic bitters
1 1/2oz Canadian whiskey
1 dash of curacao
1 teaspoonful fine granulated sugar

- 4 dashes aromatic bitters
juice of 1 lime
1 1/2oz Jamaica or Gold Label rum
Put ingredients into mixing glass with plenty of fine
cracked ice. Shake vigorously, strain into cocktail
glass.

- Place 1 lump of sugar in a "saucer" champagne
glass and saturate with aromatic bitters. Add a twist of
orange or lemon peel, or both if desired. Fill with
chilled champagne.

Southern Style
- Into a large champagne glass, pour 1oz of Southern
Comfort. Add one dash aromatic bitters, a thin twist of
lemon peel, a cherry and fill with very cold champagne.

- C & S Cocktail
- In a liqueur glass pour 1/2 Yellow Chartreuse and 1/2
your favorite Scotch whiskey. Stir.

- Chicago Cocktail
- 2 dashes aromatic bitters
1 1/2oz brandy
2 dashes curacao
Frost the rim of a champagne glass with sugar. Pour
ingredients into a mixing glass and stir slightly in
cracked ice. Strain into prepared glass and fill with
champagne. Twist lemon peel over drink for oil.

- Claret Lemonade
- Juice of 1 lemon
2 teaspoonfuls fine granulated sugar
3oz claret
3oz water
Squeeze lemon into mixing glass; add sugar, claret, water
and ice. Shake well, serve in 10oz collins glass.

- 1/2 teaspoonful of fine granulated sugar
1/2oz fresh lemon or lime juice
1 1/2oz dry gin
white of 1 egg *
1/2oz grenadine

- 3 generous dashes of aromatic bitters

- 1oz Dubonnet

1oz dry gin
Stir well in cracked ice and strain into cocktail glass.

- Take an old fashioned glass and put in two cubes of ice,
and twist of lemon peel. Fill with Martini & Rossi
sweet vermouth. Garnish with slice of orange.

- Creme De Menthe Frappe
- Fill a cocktail glass with fine ice. Add green creme de
menthe. Serve with short straws.

- Squeeze juice of 1/2 lime into a 10oz collins glass and
drop in lime shell. Add 3 cubes of ice, 1 1/2oz of Puerto
Rican rum (white label) and fill glass with cola. Serve
with a stir rod.

- East India Cocktail
- 3 dashes aromatic bitters
1 1/2oz brandy
1 teaspoonful pineapple juice
1 teaspoonful curacao (red)
Shake well with ice and strain into cocktail glass
dressed with cherry.

- Egg Nog
- 6 eggs, separated *
2 tablespoons fine granulated sugar
1 pint cream
1 pint milk
9oz rye whiskey
3oz brandy or rum
Beat yolks of eggs and the sugar together. Slowly add
rye, then milk, then brandy, then the cream lightly
whipped. Beat whites of eggs very stiff and add to the
mixture. Chill in refrigerator for at least 3 hours
before serving.

- 3 dashes aromatic bitters
1/2 gin
1/4 sweet vermouth
1/4 dry vermouth
Stir in cracked ice, strain into cocktail glass. Twist
lemon peel over top for oil.

- Generous dash of aromatic bitters
1 1/2oz dry gin
1/2oz sweet vermouth
1/4oz unsweetened, canned grapefruit juice
Stir in mixing glass with cracked ice, strain into

- Juice of 1 lemon
1 teaspoonful fine granulated sugar
2oz dry gin or brandy
Shake with cubed or cracked ice and pour into an 8oz
highball glass. Fill with champagne and stir slightly.

- 1 1/2oz Puerto Rican rum (White label)
juice of 1/2 lime
1 teaspoonful granulated sugar
Shake very strenuously with fine cracked ice or use
electric mixer, serve unstrained with short straws in a
"saucer" champagne glass.

- Gibson Cocktail
- 4 parts dry gin
1 part dry vermouth
Stir well in cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass
prepared with 3 small pearl onions. Twist of lemon peel
for oil.

Stir over ice in a pitcher. Serve in a cocktail glass

- Juice of 1/2 lime
1 1/2oz dry gin
Squeeze lime into a 10o highball glass and drop lime
shell into drink. Add ice then the gin and fill with
ginger ale. Stir slightly.

- a generous dash aromatic bitters
1 1/2oz dry gin
cube of ice
Put bitters in old fashioned glass, with a cube of ice.
Pour gin over all, stir and serve with stir rod.

- 1 1/2oz sweet vermouth
1.2oz dry gin
Place cube of ice in old fashioned glass, pour in
ingredients, stir and serve with stir rod.

- Gin and Tonic
- Rub peel of fresh lime or lemon around inside edge of 8oz
glass. Pour in 1 1/2oz dry gin and add two cubes of ice.
Add thin slice of lime or lemon, fill glass with quinine
water.

- Into a mixing glass, pour 1 1/2oz dry gin, 1oz grenadine,
and 1oz lemon juice. Add plenty of finely cracked ice.
Shake well, pour unstrained into 8oz highball glass.
Decorate with fruits, serve.

- 1oz fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoonful fine granulated sugar
1 1/2oz dry gin
Shake well with cracked ice, strain into 10oz highball

- Squeeze 1/2 lime into 10oz highball glass, drop in lime
shell. Add ice cubes, 1 1/2oz dry gin, fill with
carbonated water and serve with stir rod.

- In 8oz highball glass, add cracked ice, 3 dashes aromatic
bitters, 1 1/2oz dry gin, and twist of lemon peel. Fill
with carbonated water, stir slightly.

- Ginger Ale Highball
- Put 2 cubes of ice into a 10oz highball glass. Pour in 1
1/2oz of rye or bourbon and ginger ale to fill glass.

- 1oz fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoonful fine granulated sugar
1 1/2oz dry gin
yolk of 1 egg *
Shake well with cracked ice, strain into an 8oz highball
glass, fill with carbonated water. Stir slightly and

1/3 dry vermouth
Put ingredients into mixing glass. Stir well in cracked

- 2 dashes aromatic bitters
2/3 Puerto Rican rum (Gold Label)
1/3 sweet vermouth
Stir in cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass and dress
with cherry.

- 3 parts London Dry gin
1 part sweetened lime juice
Stir over ice in a pitcher. Serve in a cocktail glass
garnished with a thin slice of lime and a green minted
cherry.

- Honeysuckle Cocktail
- Juice 1/2 lemon
1 1/2oz Puerto Rican rum (White label)
1 teaspoonful honey
Dissolve the honey in the lemon juice and rum. Add ice
shake, and strain into cocktail glass.

- Juice 1 lemon
1 1/2oz apricot brandy
Shake well with cracked ice and strain into cocktail
glass.

- Horse's Neck (with a kick)
- Peel the rind of a lemon spiral fashion in one piece.
Place one edge on the peel over the lip of a 10oz collins
glass, allowing the remainder to curl inside the tumbler.
Add cubes of ice. Pour in 1 1/2oz of gin or whiskey. Fill
with ginger ale.

- 3 dashes aromatic bitters

1/2oz dry vermouth
1/2oz grapefruit juice
1 teaspoonful fine granulated sugar
Shake with cracked ice and strain into cocktail glass

- Into a pre-warmed stemmed 7oz goblet, put 1 jigger of
Irish whiskey and 1 to 2 teaspoons of sugar. Stir in

- Mint Julep
- Fill a 10oz collins glass with finely crushed ice and
place to one side. Strip the leaves from 2 sprigs of
fresh mint, place leaves in mixing glass and sprinkle
with 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar. Macerate with
muddler until mint flavor is released from leaves. Add
splash of seltzer and 3oz bourbon whiskey. Stir gently,
then strain into the prepared collins glass, over the
ice. Work a bar spoon up and down in the mixture, until
the outside of the glass begins to frost. Top with a
splash of rum, 2 sprigs of fresh mint, a cherry, and
serve with straws. Do not touch the glass with warm
hands; use a towel while handling, to facilitate
frosting.

Juice 1/2 lemon
1 teaspoon fine granulated sugar
Combine in a 10oz collins glass and fill with carbonated
water. Stir and decorate with slice of lemon, sherry and

2oz Puerto Rican Gold Label rum
1oz White Label rum
2 teaspoonfuls apricot brandy
3/4oz unsweetened pineapple juice
3/4oz papaya juice
1 teaspoonful fine granulated sugar
juice of 1 lime
Shake well with plenty of cracked ice and pour unstrained
into a 14oz zombie glass. Float a splash of 151 proof
tropical heavy bodied rum on top. Spike on a toothpick
(in order named) 1 green cherry, 1/2 inch pineapple
stick, 1 red cherry. Decorate with this and sprig of
mint. Sprinkle powdered sugar over all and serve.
