A town councilman, a school board member, a doctor, and an engineer were waiting one morning for a particularly slow group of golfers.

The Councilman: What's with these guys? We must have been waiting for 15 minutes!

The School Board Member: I don't know. I've never seen such lack of adherence to protocol!

The Doctor: If they only knew how much my time was worth, given 18% ROI...........

The Engineer: Hey, here comes the greens keeper. Let's have a word with him.

The Councilman: Hi Sandy. Say Sandy, what's with that group ahead of us? They're rather slow, aren't they?

Sandy: Oh yes. That's a group of blind fire fighters. They lost their sight while saving our club house last year. So we let them play here free of charge!

(silence)

The Councilman: That's sad. I’ll find some tax money to install handicap ramps to the tees. It will speed play. I’ll schedule a photo session with the press next week for the ground breaking ceremony.

The Doctor: Good idea. I'll contact my ophthalmologist buddy and see if there's any excess Medicare funds obtainable. We’ll collaborate at 12% ROI.

The School Board Member: I’ll arrange for busing them equally around various courses in the region. We’ll add a Braille specialists to our staff and teach them to recognize the number of dimples on their balls.

The Engineer: Why can't these guys play at night?
