NANCY MUNOZ: GOP, incumbent, State General Assembly: 2 Years: aswmunoz@njleg.org ... a few moments please to see newspaper articles (help) Candidate Bio and Statement:     Nancy Munoz was appointed during a special convention to the New Jersey General Assembly in 2009 to fill the vacancy following the death of husband, Assemblyman Eric Munoz. She later won a three-candidate contested Primary that June and was elected to a two-year term in November 2009.     A nurse, she serves on the Assembly Health and Senior Services Committee and the Assembly Tourism and the Arts Committee.     A resident of Summit, Mrs. Munoz holds a B.S. and a M.S., both in nursing, from Skidmore College and Hunter College, respectively. She has worked as a nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital, the Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Overlook Medical Center, and has worked as a risk care manager for Continental Insurance Health Care.     She has five children with her late husband.
