Candidate Bio and Statement:
    Christopher Hudak was appointed to the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders in December 2010 to fill an unexpired term on the board left by the resignation of Rick Proctor, the new mayor of Rahway.
    A lifelong resident of Linden, Freeholder Hudak most recently served for several years beginning in 2006 as the manager of the New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicles in Rahway. He oversaw more than 50 employees and the day-to-day operations of one of New Jerseyís six Super DMV Agencies. He was responsible for the processing of more than 300,000 yearly transactions, and supervised the collection of over $10 million in state revenue annually.
    Freeholder Hudak also served as public affairs director for Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey (PDFNJ) for four years was chief of staff and director of communications for the late former Assemblyman and State Senator Joseph Suliga of Linden for several years.
    Freeholder Hudak sits on the board of the Tri-County Red Cross (now the Raritan Valley Chapter based in Westfield), and is serves on the Linden City Rent Leveling Board. He is a member of the Linden Knights of Columbus, a parishioner at St. Johnís Roman Catholic Church in Clark and a member of the National Eagle Scout Association.
    Freeholder Hudak holds a Masterís Degree in Public Administration from Kean University and is a graduate of Rutgers University, where he majored in political science. He is a graduate of Roselle Catholic High School.
    Mr. Hudak and his wife, Terri, reside in Linden with their infant daughter.
