Platform: Eliminate medical benefits for part time municipal workers such as the mayor and council. Put an end to the “family” style government where one brother is the mayor, another is the Board of Education President and the father is a key member of the municipal government. Establish an ethics position with the municipal government to review all contracts, awards,
etc. Opposed to the elimination of the civil service system that the mayor is seeking to end. Look at alternative choices to senior housing locations other than the location selected on Terminal Ave.
Jump start the downtown area of Clark to create a better shopping area. Put an end to the cozy relationship between the mayor and his brother (board of education president) keeping the municipal gov and the BOE separate entities. Upgrade township website to include payment options for taxes, sewer fees,
etc. More transparency about issues like taxes – which have increased at a higher rate than the mayor claims when new fees like the sewer fee are added in.
