Education:
Senator Obama graduated from Columbia University in 1983. He went on to earn a law degree from Harvard University in 1991.
Experience: During his eight years in the Illinois State Senate, Senator Obama worked with Democrats and Republicans to help create programs to aid working families. In the U.S. Senate, he has served as a member of the Veterans’ Affairs Committee and has been an advocate of ethics reform in Congress.
