Professional Background:
Mr. Hak
manages a local holding company. He was
formerly owner and operator of Horan Lumber and Coal Co.
in Cranford, which served the community for more than 50
years.
Education: He is a graduate of Cranford High School
and attended Central Connecticut
University.
Experience: Mr. Hak was the former president and is
the current vice-president of the Garwood Lions Club. He
is a member of the Garwood Knights of Columbus and a
parishioner of the Church of St. Anne. He volunteers his
time with the Garwood Little League, Travel Baseball, the
Union County Soccer Program and the Cub Scouts. Tim and
his wife Peggy, a teacher in the Garwood school system,
have two children, Patrick and Erin
