Professional Background:
From 1989 to 1993, Mary DePaola was a structural engineer
with Severud Associates Consulting Engineers in New York.
Education: Mrs. DePaola received a Bachelor's degree
in engineering from Vanderbilt University's School of
Engineering in 1989. Currently, she is taking the
Christine Todd Whitman Excellence in Public Service
Series.
Experience: In September of 2008, Mrs. DePaola was
elected to the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA Board of
Directors and to the Christine Todd Whitman Excellence in
Public Service Series Board of Governors. She has also
been on various committees and boards since 2007: the
Scotch Plains Republican Committee, the Scotch Plains
Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Scotch Plains Cultural
Arts Committee, the Scotch Plains Mayors Gala and the
Scotch Plains Day Committee. Mrs. DePaola has been a
member of the McGuinn Elementary School PTA since 1999 and
is also a lecturer of Native American Culture.
