Candidate Information

Professional Background: Non-practicing attorney with certification from New York.

Education: B.A. from New York University and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Brooklyn Law School.

Family Life: Married for 20 years to Kevin. He’s a bank executive for federal home loan bank in New York.  3 children ages 17, 14, and 10 – two boys and a girl.

Government Experience: Served on Westfield town council for past four years. Republican committee.  Chairperson of public works department for past two years.  Was on town code and property review committee.  Presently serves on public safety, transportation and parking committee. Liaison to municipal alliance, parents against drinking and alcohol abuse. Liaison to chamber of commerce.

Clubs and Organizations: Was a teacher of CCD at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church. Volunteer at local food pantry.

Major Campaign Issues: Changed traffic patterns around Wilson school – continues to stress importance of safe streets, street paving and repairs. Also champions shared-service agreements with Westfield conservation center and neighboring towns. Will work to get more efficient use of public works department. Will work with municipal alliance to promote anti-drug programs and make the council more aware of the group’s activities.
