Reform Thoughts |
 |
The state
Department of Community Affairs has awarded $17.7 million in
extraordinary municipal aid grants. Cranford, which requested
$1.3 million, was rejected, while Fanwood received $325,000.
Cranford sustained significant damage in a flood earlier this
year that will affect the township's financial situation. That
township deserved extraordinary aid money from the fiscal crisis
it suffered. - See year-to-date reform
thoughts.
