121 Cacciola Place Faces Abandonment, Raccoon Infestation

ROCKY RACCOON(S)…To the dismay of neighbors for almost two years now, raccoons, photographed above last year, enjoy their home at the abandoned house in Westfield at 121 Cacciola Place. The developer, Joseph Penyak Sr., had intended to demolish the house and rebuild. A nighttime photo taken on July 17 shows that the infestation is ongoing.

NIGHT AT THE MOVIES...Parents, children and movie lovers of all ages pull up lawn chairs and spread out blankets at dusk in LaGrande Park on Tuesday to watch Night at the Museum, free of charge, as a part of one of Fanwood’s weekly summer movie nights.
