Education:
Mr. Matheson earned an economics degree with a concentration in accounting from the College of Staten Island.
Family
Life: The
candidate has been married for 18 years and has two
teenage children educated in the Garwood school system.
Experience:
Mr.
Matheson has six years of experience on the Garwood Board of Education, including two as vice-president. He has been the Garwood representative to the Clark BOE, and has been the Garwood BOE’s finance chairman. He is scoutmaster with the Garwood Boy Scouts, a basketball and soccer coach in the borough and the treasurer and a coach with the Garwood Little League.
