Background: Mr.
Valian has worked as the Vice President for Operations Petro Plastics, a
family-owned plastics company in Garwood, N.J. He has also worked for
New York Mercantile Exchange and Smith Barney to manage natural gas,
heating oil and unleaded gas accounts.

David
Valian was a Linden High School graduate. After high school, he attended
Union County College and later received a B.A. from Rutgers University.
Family
Life: The
candidate has been a Fanwood resident since 1997 and is currently
married with four children. Three of his children currently attend
Brunner Elementary School.

For the past four years, the candidate has volunteered as a coach for
youth football, basketball and baseball leagues.
