The Impact of Education

PLAY BALL…Opening Day for the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Youth Baseball Association faced rain but the ceremonies were not dampened at Booth Field last Saturday. Officials pictured above include Association Commissioner Joseph Sebolao, Fanwood Councilman Joseph Higgins and Scotch Plains Mayor Martin Marks along with other officials and youngsters.

We agree with Asm. Jon Bramnick, R-21 of Westfield: The governor is urged to have U.S. Attorney Chris Christie send Stern’s investigative team to audit other state entities after their work is completed at the UMDNJ hospital. “There is no doubt we need audits, reviews and investigations of many state funded entities,” Mr. Bramnick said.
