Westfield Council Passes Resolution for School Budget Cuts


PACKED HOUSE...The issue of the installation of lights at Houlihan Field on Lamberts Mill Road drew a large crowd to the Town Council meeting on the evening of May 17. Residents turned out in support, as well as opposition of the lights. The council approved the installation of the lights, 8-1.

ATTIC ABLAZE...A fire in the attic of a home located at 602 Stanley Avenue in Westfield on the morning of May 18 required the assistance of numerous surrounding towns in an act of mutual aid. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
