News July 11:  Westfield Train commuter service has now resumed (9:20 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2005) as the bomb scare has been resolved; abandoned bookbag was detonated safely without incident. Area  is quickly returning to normal. Bomb Scare at the Westfield Train Station suspended NJTransit commuter starting at 8 a.m. Monday. The area  was blocked off by police, fire, state police and the Union County bomb  squad. Special bomb squad and equipment inspect the package (an abandoned red book bag, noticed by routine police inspection just prior to 8 a.m.). The item in question was detonated (safely, as a precaution by 9:15).  Details
