April 16 BOE Budget Voting: Westfield (1979 yes - 1446 No), Scotch Plains-Fanwood (1680 yes - 1425 No);  Mountainside (463 Yes - 604 No); WF BOE Candidates Hunnicut (2080 elected), Gardner (2070 elected), Ziff (1845 elected), Kattak (1669); all others in Mountainside, Scotch Plains, Fanwood elected unopposed.


CRASH IN WESTFIELD...Last Thursday, a Westfield woman hit a parked car on Mountain Ave., heading toward East Broad St.  No serious injuries were reported.
