Fanwood Police Nab Suspect in Area Burglaries

TENSE MOMENTS...Police and members of the Westfield Rescue Squad respond to an accident which occurred on July 31 at the intersection of East Broad and Elm Streets. A Westfield resident was trying to make a left-hand turn from Elm onto East Broad Street when a Springfield resident was attempting to cross in the crosswalk at East Broad Street.

CUBS AT CAMP...Cub Scout Pack No. 79 of Tamaques Elementary School in Westfield enjoyed a weekend at Camp Speers-Eljabar in eastern Pennsylvania in early June. Forty-eight campers and parents learned canoeing, riflery, archery, arts and crafts, fishing and other skills.
