VICTORIOUS!…With a 600-plus vote victory, GOP Councilman Gregory S. McDermott won the title of Mayor Tuesday evening, defeating DEM Susan Jacobson. Mr. McDermott, the son of former state senator and ex-Union County GOP Chairman Frank X. McDermott, has served on the Town Council for the past three years, representing the First Ward.
