GROWING A GARDEN WITH AT& T… The AT& T Cares Program has awarded a grant to Sandra Cepparulo, an AT& T employee and Brunner Elementary School parent and to Bernadette Hoyer, PreKindergarten teacher at Brunner School, to help maintain and expand the school’s Children’s Garden. Mrs. Cepparulo has supported and worked with Mrs. Hoyer on the garden project for two years. The grant money was used to purchase curriculum materials, garden tools and plants for this year’s Garden Work Day. Two attractive signs that now identify the garden were made as part of the AT& T Cares Program. With the aid of parent volunteers, all of the children in the Preschool Disabled, PreKindergarten TIP TOP, PreKindergarten Title 1 and Kindergarten classes were able to enjoy handson experiences in the garden. Pictured, left to right, are: Mrs. Cepparulo, Jason Cepparulo and Mrs. Hoyer display the sign made through the AT& T Cares Program for the school’s garden. Katherine O’Connor Participates
